New Mercies Sterling Silver Hugo was born into our cattery on April 26, 2024. He was Kiwi from the Fruit Litter, and his parents are Lainey and Conall. He was a stunning boy right from the beginning, so we knew we had to keep him!
Hugo is a Black Silver Mackerel Tabby (ns23) with gold eyes. He is considered a "high silver" as he has more of a white undercoat than normal. He also has a one-in-a-million personality and temperament! Hugo loves to play and is a really funny boy, but he is also the sweetest, most loving boy who talks all the time and can't get enough attention! With his amazing personality and perfect coloring, we think he will be the perfect addition to our cattery! We hope to have our first litter with Hugo in the summer of 2025. Future King
Hugo is FIV/FeLV negative. He has been tested and cleared for hip dysplasia, HCM, SMA, PKD, as well as a multitude of other genetic defects.
CoontasticPaws La Vie of New Mercies (aka Picasso) is a stunning Red Shell (ds12) with gold eyes. He looks pure white or sometimes a light carmel color, but in fact he is white with red tips. Pictures cannot do his true beauty justice!
Picasso was born on May 8, 2024 here in the US, and joined our cattery in March of 2025. He is already a huge boy with a magnificent coat. Picasso is also incredibly sweet and loves attention and to be pet. We are thrilled to be adding him to our breeding program! We hope to have our first litter with Picasso in the summer of 2025.

Picasso will be tested for FIV/FeLV, hip dysplasia, HCM, SMA, PKD, as well as a multitude of other genetic defects this spring before breeding.
Retired Breeders
Snow Covered Conall of New Mercies born March 3rd, 2021 is a beautiful blue smoke male (as), but he is a very "low smoke". He was imported from Russia in July 2021 Conall has gold eyes and is the sweetest, most loving boy I have ever had! His mane is magnificent and his tall standing ears and tuffs are just perfect!
Conall produces kittens with the best personality and temperament ever! We have never seen more laid back, gentle kittens! He is a king we want to be able to keep around for a long time. Click here to see what color kittens Conall produces with our Queens.
Conall was tested and is clear for hip dysplasia, HCM, SMA, PKD, FIV/FeLV, as well as a multitude of other genetic defects.
Triumph Argerion of New Mercies (Tank) Born August 21, 2019, Tank is a Red Spotted Tabby with White (d24 03) and has copper eyes. He has a large bone structure and is a very solid boy. He is already impressive, but when he finishes growing at 5 years old, he will be much more than impressive! His voice makes me laugh because it is deep and loud and manly! But despite his size, Tank is very sweet, gentle and calm and has such a fun, happy personality.
Tank was imported from Russia in July 2020.
Tank was retired in August 2022 when we changed our color line to dilute smokes.

Born June 6, 2017, he is a solid black (n) with bright green eyes. He is a very sweet and gentle cat.
Some fun facts about Awesome…his pedigree name is in Russian and directly translates into English “I am Awesome”. Which is why we call him Awesome. In Kazakhstan he was registered with the World Cat Federation, and won the title of Champion with that association.
Awesome was imported from Kazakhstan in February of 2019.
Awesome was retired in March 2021 and now lives with us as a beloved pet.
