When I brought my kitten home he was clean, healthy, and calm. He had a few accidents, but socialized well with my son. He adjusted to and bonded with my son quickly.
He was very healthy. Vet insisted on feline tests and all were negative.
We were thankful to find you. A few years ago we were nearly scammed by a crook with no kittens. We were confident you would care for and deliver our beautiful boy.
If you buy from New Mercies Maine Coon Cattery your kitten will be cared for like a member of the family until you meet to pick it up.
When I brought my kitten home he was a bit smelly, but after being cooped up in his carrier I’m not surprised. We gave him a quick bath. Otherwise he looked great except for a little eye discharge but the vet wasn’t concerned.
He was very sweet and playful but it took 24 hours or so before he was eating well. I was surprised that my older cats took a while to warm up to him—they didn’t fight but they weren’t exactly welcoming either—but he seems to have adjusted well to our home.
After we brought him home he was diagnosed with a heart murmur, but it seems to have resolved. He also had some loose stools but I think it’s because he got into the other cats’ food. It resolved once we switched him back. He has not been diagnosed with any life-long illnesses.
We had a very good experience.
The kittens were provided a area in the house that was great for kittens to thrive. You can tell they spend good quality time with their kittens to prepare them to be a great companion.
My kitten looked very well taken care of when we picked him up and is/was a beautiful cat. His fur was shorter than some might expect but he now has the most beautiful long thick fur.
Leo immediately fit right in with my dogs and other cats. He also did great with my older child and my toddler.
New Mercies made this a very straight forward non stressful experience. They answered every question I had in a timely matter.

Ember was healthy weight her fur was soft and combed no tangles or mats. She was wide eyed and bushy tailed ready to meet her new family!
Obviously she was a tad confused but she snuggled right in bed with me and every thing went great!
The vet did not find anything abnormal said she was perfect and beautiful!

The environment my kitten was raised in was great! They had lots of space with a family that loves them all! They had lots of climbing or perch areas. I loved that my kitten was carried to me by your daughter—that showed me my kitten was used to be handled, was being handled nicely. I know I got her a little later than most kittens, but I found this to be helpful for our home since I have an 8 and 5 year old. They all seemed like well-loved family members.
When I brought her home she was and is just so beautiful and majestic. Her fur did smell kind of like a barn somewhat. She was okay around us. And we did follow the instructions of keeping her limited to one room of the house and that helps her now even know that our room is her safe space! Each new day she will try something new like jumping onto the fridge! Or getting to the high perch of her mansion or playing around in the little hideouts.
She has perfect health!
Everything was well thought out, planned perfectly and really done so well so we can have a great life with our cat from the start! So informative, very detail-oriented guides, but not lengthy so it was not hard to follow.
NMMCC has beautiful, loving cats from a lady who truly knows what she’s doing and has guides or policies in place to make it truly the best experience for the cat and the owner. I have already recommended NMMCC several times!
